Read what you have to say!

As an ex health service employee the problem lays first with budgets being given to every ward and department,if they don't spend it they don't get the same amount next year,so come January they waste their money on things like new carpets even if they dont need them,at the same time other wards are making cuts because thay have no money, there needs also to be a ban on treating anyone who wasn't born here,if I go to the USA I have to have insurance and so should anyone coming here, its the national health service not the world health service

Male Respondent - North of England

We are not given enough time in the surgery, it appears the patient has a better idea of what is wrong with them than the medical profession.I had 2 fractures of the pelvis after a heavy fall and was not offered an Xray until I asked for it 5 months after the injury,I told them I was in excruciating pain, lived alone so undertook all the household and gardening chores apart from walking a very large dog regularly so and they sent me for therapy which meant pulling my joints about, after the Xray, the hospital failed to inform my doctor, they then had to fax the results through later which was a shock for them to say the least,on visiting a consultant they mislaid the xrays so I had to explain everything for the hundredth time-to this day I'm surprised I can still walk, but now suffer with chronic backache, a problem I had never had in 60+ years. I used to trust the NHS but not any more-times have changed and not for the better.

Far too many managers. Too much political interference, particularly with this present govt. Excessive consultancy costs when all should be included in NHS. So called re-organisation with regard to G.P's. is causing

enormous amount of dissatisfaction to patients and reducing overall efficiency of NHS. Dental branch of NHS completely and utterly disorganised and over expensive.

Male Respondent - Central England

The NHS is being abused by managers,(when MATRONS who know what their doing should run all hospitals).

And stop treatment of all immigrants in the NHS until they put something into the coffers. It cannot be right when an immigrant steps onto our shores & the following day they can go to any hospital & have any operation & aftercare at our expense. You don't have to be a rocket scientist to work that one out .
